from 2001 – 2007 she was member of Somaliland National Electoral Commission  (NEC).  
Before joining to the Government Shukri worked as Chairman with Candlelight NGO for Health,
Education & Environment in Somaliland for more than 20 years.
Shukri H.Ismail Bandare is an Environmental activist over 25 years of Experience.

Mohamed Abdilahi Duale is the Director-General of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change
and former Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Republic of SL.
Mr. Dua
le has more than 18 years of experience in consultancy and managerial development positions
in both private and public institutions, with a greater focus on institutional building. In addition to that,
Mr. Duale held managerial roles involving program support and management to implement development efforts for poverty reduction,
higher education, and democratic governance in Somaliland.

Mr. Duale has managed and coordinated several aid projects in the Horn of Africa.Mr. Duale has extensive knowledge of the political issues prevailing in the Horn of Africa.He has also worked on both international and local elections observation teams in Somaliland, where he managed and coordinated local election observation teams in the 2010 and 2012 Elections in Somaliland. Moreover, Mr. Duale has worked in the United Kingdom in different professional capacities.Mr. Duale is interested in research concerning Climate Diplomacy, International Environmental Law, state recognition, the foreign policy of unrecognized states, international law, International Relations of Africa, and democratization in the Horn of Africa.
Mr. Duale earned his Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Osmania University, 
Particularly the prestigious College of Nizam in India.
He holds an M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Hargeisa. Mr. Duale also received an MA in International law from Bristol Law School, University of West England.
